How big is Big Toot, anyway?
Big enough to handle most pilots!
Joe Flood, of the Flying Flood Family, visited recently to pays his respects and attend the funeral service for Charlie Yates. While here, we took the opportunity to have Joe "try it on for size." And how did Joe's 6' - 3" frame feel in Big Toot? As Joe remarked, "very comfortable."
Comforting words, indeed.
Also, I know this doesn't look like much. But!
Between drawing, adjusting, Layout, cutting, Welding, setting the bearings and Painting the "Big Toot" Bell Crank is finished. More work than meets the untrained eye. Yes, painted and ready for final installation.
